Lately, Wiz Khalifa's "When I See You Again" has been topping the music charts around the world, partially due to the meaning behind the lyrics. This song was made in honor of Paul Walker, who died in a tragic car accident just two years ago.
Paul Walker is known for many different movies, but what made him a star was his role in The Fast and Furious series as Brian O'Connor. In the latest film, Fast and Furious 7many of Paul's cast mates expressed their grief and wanted to honor him correctly in the film. So at the end, directors added a sequence of photos, which included Paul and some of the series' actors, as Wiz's song played in the background.
Because of the song's rise in popularity, many young singers have taken to YouTube to show off their talents. One girl in particular, Jannine Weigel, a 14-year-old girl from Thailand, decided she was going to make her own version of "When I see You Again". The verdict? Ms. Weigel knocked it out of the ballpark with her amazing vocal range and sweet voice. Her incredible rendition of the touching song leaves you feeling all kinds of emotions. You go girl!
